PiA in Prague – EAWOP 2025 is just around the corner
The conference year is in full swing and part of the chair will be attending the EAWOP conference in Prague from May 21-24, 2025.
The chair will be represented there with two self-organized symposia:
Julia Schmidbauer has organized a symposium with the topic “Designing Decent Work in the Blue Collar Sector”, in which she also presented her own paper “Staying in a Stressful Job? The Role of Job Embeddedness for Truck Drivers’ Well-Being and Turnover Intentions”.
Lukas Retzer is chairing a symposium on “From Tools to Partners: Interacting with Emerging Technologies at Work” with his own contribution on “What Makes Human-Robot Interaction Effective? A Diary Study of People Working with Industrial Robots“ and a presentation by Sara Bergmann on her topic ”Challenge or Threat: Do Men and Women Differ in Their Technology Perception in the Work Context?”.
Both symposia are international with contributions from Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands and Australia.
Many thanks also to Dr. Kyra Göbel, who not only actively helped organize the symposium “From Tools to Partners: Interacting with Emerging Technologies at Work”, but also holds the position at the chair for us.
