Certificate training "Counseling and Coaching in the Workplace"

A cooperation of the Chair of Work and Organizational Psychology at the FAU with the Systemic Transactional Analytical Institute & Practice (STIP) by Oliver Watzal

Admission requirements

  • a university degree in psychology or pedagogy (university) and
  • basic psychological knowledge (clinical psychology and / or industrial and organizational psychology) in connection with a successful application

Practical competencies

The focus of the training is on coping with everyday demands, crises and personal challenges that arise when working with people in organisations. Particularly for newcomers to the profession, this includes questions of positioning within the company, clarifying one’s own goals and external assignments, initiating and designing interventions, mediation, consulting and coaching processes. These requirements demand a practical qualification that builds on the knowledge and skills of university studies and complements them meaningfully.
